Welcome to the 2025 Aquarius Full Moon. It is not only pushing these questions to a point of release, but it’s also delivering the motivation and oomph to act on them. In a split second.
The Leo/Aquarius axis lights up the challenge of shining as an individual while coexisting in a group. These competing interests color the emotional dramas cresting now. The question is less “Do you see me?” (the Leo plight) and more “Do I fit here?” (the Aquarius quandary). And answering that is an exercise more intellectual than the usual Full Moon.
The 2025 Aquarius Full Moon enables moving into observer mode – being in the fray and yet not quite in it; detaching from situations and experiencing them more through your mind than with your heart.
You’re still human, though. Passion and other high energies are simmering within, informing your viewpoint and erupting into outbursts here and there.
The 2025 Aquarius Full Moon itself is making no major aspects, but Aquarius’ ruler, Uranus, is driving the action. It is both amplifying the intellectual and communicative streak of this event and also stoking those simmering energies.
Since it moved into the airs of Gemini one month ago, Uranus has been fast-tracking information, revelations, plot twists, and, above all, change. It’s a formidable disruptor on its own, but it’s collaborating with its fellow heavy hitters, all the outermost planets. A trine to Pluto in Aquarius is unleashing sudden, chaotic, foundational, and unavoidable change. Sextiles from both of them to Saturn and Neptune in Aries are inviting taking charge of spiritually (or ideologically) fueled passions.
And now Mars in Libra is joining in, creating an air grand trine, or round robin, of energy going from him to Uranus to Pluto and back. Minds, mouths, and media are in overdrive, enhancing the detached propensity of the Aquarius Moon. With this unimpeded three-way, info, shocks, and epiphanies are leading straight to changes in attitude, changes in tactics and approaches, and changes in relationships and agreements – abruptly and permanently.
Those questions you’ve been weighing? The 2025 Aquarius Full Moon is answering them, at times and in ways you won’t see coming. Realizations and conversations might be painful; then again, they might not be. They could happen so quickly that cuts are clean and require no anesthetic. The mental power of that trine, sparked by Saturn and Neptune, is a manifestation formula, leading to acting on thoughts and decisions.
And on recently acquired information. Think of what you’ve discovered, sorted out, revisited, reworked, revised, and cleared up since July 18, when Mercury’s retrograde put communication under the microscope.
Mercury is sitting at the degree of its direct station on August 11, two days after the Full Moon. You’re at a point of assimilating your Mercury retrograde experiences. With Mercury essentially motionless, they are inundating you. And they are fueling your need and ability to speak up, which is also being fueled by everything that’s flying in the wind tunnel of the air grand trine.
Take in the data, the revelations, the memories, the plot twists, sudden shifts, and opportunities. Look at them from a 20,000-foot elevation, then come back into yourself. Claim the spotlight. Take the mic. Speak up and out when prompted, or triggered, or inspired. Address what’s been out of sync in your friend groups and organizations. Reconfigure; cut away; say goodbye. It doesn’t have to be messy. It doesn’t have to hurt. It will lighten your load for the path ahead.
