My personal problem lies in whether traditional techniques only should be used.
E.g.
I was taught that gout is a complaint that falls under Jupiter of Sagittarius. Yet Jupiter is also the traditional ruler of Pisces, that rules the feet. A negatively aspected Jupiter in both cases would induce ‘swelling’ to the area involved.
Checking internet sources, gout is a result of uric acid problems that can also cause arthritis, both of which fall under Saturn of Capricorn.
This would lead to thoughts of a negatively aspected Jupiter-Saturn connection across the signs. Neptune is not included in horary astrology, yet there IS a Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries in the 5th house of parent-child relationships. However, Jupiter rules 5th house and, as the faster planet, is out of applying orb to Saturn. No effect from medication?
Yet Moon is of importance in horary and is ruler of 9th house (health in med. astro.). It applies to, and will conjunct Jupiter after squaring Saturn in a matter of weeks or months. Not so positive improvement .
If the houses are turned, is the 4th, 5th, or 10th house taken as representing father?
5th sees dad’s physical ailment as 6th from 5th =10th= Leo with Mars in Virgo ( physical pain from complaint?) Moon is applying to Mars in a matter of weeks (tsmall’s recent topic re: v.o.c Moon?),as do both Sun and Jupiter. Positive of nature.
4th house as dad sees Saturn/Capricorn influence, with Moon as ruler 6th house. Not so positive, and 9th house health falls under Libra, ruler of the kidney renal system(filtering of urine production).
Venus in fixed sign Taurus is unaspected. Problematic?
10th house as dad sees Leo/Sun influence with Capricorn on 6th house cusp and Saturn influence in 8th house. Not to positive.
Aries rules the adrenals. If the natal chart shows tr. Saturn-Neptune activating a natal planet, the filtering and medication of a Neptune influence could provide more direct answers.
All hypothetical of nature. An either/or query?
