We have all heard about Pythagoras and his significant contributions to mathematics and science. However, not many people know that Pythagoras was a philosopher, mystic, and the forefather of Numerology. He was one of the first known ancient scientists to introduce the concept of the harmony of the spheres. Pythagoras even developed a whole metaphysical system based on his discoveries. According to Pythagoras’ teachings, everything in the Universe is in balance – everything and everyone is playing their unique and important part in one great vibrational chorus.
Many of Pythagoras’ theories later became the foundation for the Numerology as we know it today and gave deep meaning to numbers. He was one of the first spiritual scientists who connected the cosmic music of vibrations with Numerology. Pythagoras established that the symbols behind Numerology numbers lie in the foundation of all that exists in the Universe. Everything in the world, living and non-living, men and women, follows the laws of vibrations and can be described in numerology numbers.

This number represents consciousness that is between the animal instincts and the next step of human evolution – the enlightened being.

Embodying the enlightened human, the horizontal line at the top symbolizes that the enlightened human is attached to the heavens (the Spirit). The bottom curved line indicates that they have a love for the Earth.

Representing an Angel, if we look at the number 6, we can see the spiraling line coming down from the heavens towards Earth. Angels are not attached to anything, and they mainly represent the energy of love.

Exemplifying the creative essence of the Divine, we can see the line on the top that is attached to the heavens (the spiritual world) and the line that connects the heavens and Earth at a certain angle. The line with the angle represents an intuitive channel that humans can utilize in their creativity.

Symbolizing Divine Power as well as the symbol for Infinity, the everlasting curved line connects the heavens (spiritual world) with Earth (the material world). This number also shows that Divine Power is Infinite.
Numerology of #9
Signifying the wisdom of higher consciousness, the curved line is moving towards the heavens after its experience on Earth. The earth experience gives wisdom and allows us to move to the next level of higher consciousness.

In conclusion, according to Numerology, every number has its own meaning. The qualities behind Numerology numbers not only explain the evolution of consciousness, but they can also help find meaning in the mission of a human soul.
