2025 Taurus Full Moon – Time for Grounding

The 2025 Taurus Full Moon is a rare grounding moment in this month of untethered energetic tsunamis. Take a break from the crashing waves and focus your attention on your immediate environment.
Taurus is very much focused on the here and now, on what you can consume or experience through the senses. Likely, you’ve been more concerned about finances and resources lately. Should you cut back? Invest? Stockpile? And likely those questions, and the not entirely conscious impact of all the water energy you’ve seen, have you gravitating toward food to calm and comfort.
This event is lighting up the state of your physical existence. How’s your money? Your food supply? Your sense of well-being?
Questions like those figure in the emotional dramas cresting now – and yes, there will still be some, despite this earth-bound sign.
The answers are hardly trivial. You’re conducting a review that bears on your future. Even though a Full Moon invites releasing what no longer serves, this one is also directly linked to the path ahead.
With the Moon trine the Virgo south node, the leaving behind part comes more naturally. The 2025 Taurus Full Moon’s sextile to the Pisces north node, however, opens the door to higher forces with the power to soften and grace worldly existence – love, compassion, recognition of the interconnectedness of all life.
It could be that you feel called upon – or inspired – to share what you have with others who lack it. It could be that you gain a new appreciation for what you have. Or change the role it plays in your existence. Or experience a heightened awareness of the fleeting nature of time and life, and commit to enjoying the here and now. Recently revised relationship ground rules and agreements figure into the review. That’s because Taurus’s ruler, Venus, is at the very degree of the Libra New Moon she oversaw in October. That event adapted our dealings with each other to radically changed realities.
Yet desires abide. She’s coming off a square to her companion in indulgence seeking, Jupiter in Cancer, which has only amplified (and encouraged rationalizing) wanting and having more: Connection. Safety. Security. Comfy blankies and cozy nests. And yes, of course, comfort food.
Some adjustments are necessary now. As she hosts the Full Moon in her earthy home, she’s in an inconjunct with Neptune, her higher counterpart in love and creativity.
Some aspect of your relationship to physical reality is up for tweaking. Maybe it would be better if some of her attachments gave way – which is to say, if some of yours did. Maybe some of those desires and creature comforts are due for a shift. Maybe the Full Moon review inspires you to bring more meaning into your physical reality, or to see the greater beauty in the world around you, or to create. Just…create.
In all, it’s a gentle wake-up call to not take this life for granted. Pull yourself into the moment as you eat, as you feel the weight and texture of fabrics on your skin, as you pick up a pencil or a paintbrush, as you gaze at the sky. Your time and your life are resources. How are you spending them?
