It is said that life is a balance of holding on and letting go, and we are likely to experience some strong “push and pull” this week. As much as this applies to the sheer horrors unfolding in the world, it also applies to us personally, as we make our way through the 6th week of a 7-week cycle in which all the week numbers are KARMIC TEEN NUMBERS.

We are all experiencing important karmic movement at this time. This involves today’s teenagers significantly, but it also affects older people by triggering memories, feelings, and unresolved matters from their own teen and young-adult experiences.
When we try to move forward and hold on to the past at the same time, we feel the frustration of taking “one step forward, and two steps back”. So, we have to LET GO of old wounds and misunderstandings that keep us trapped in time. We also have to HOLD ON to our ability to CARE – about ourselves, and others.
This week, what you see, hear, or sense in present time, can produce alternating reflections of who you used to be – and who you’re becoming. Being in 3 different “dimensions” simultaneously can be confusing, but this discomfort is a natural response to the changes taking place in the way you perceive yourself – and your various relationships. This energy reminds us that just because something seemed acceptable in the past, doesn’t mean you have to stay on that road for ever.

9 helps you experience the JOY that occurs when you finally LET GO of who you were, and BE your true self. This can be difficult to achieve, especially for anyone who is unfairly judged by others. Or if you seek approval from people who simply cannot accept you as you are, which often involves family and close friends. As painful as this may feel, it’s OK if they don’t understand or approve of you. You were born on your own unique path – and they were born on theirs. 1 is the number of THE SELF, and the only way any individual can evolve safely out of the 1000s and in to the 2000s is through SELF-acceptance.

5 helps us to learn and prosper from our mistakes. And WEEK 18 brings us to the end of APRIL, which, in a 1 GLOBAL YEAR, is a 5 GLOBAL MONTH. (1+4=5). But 5‘s influence doesn’t end there, because on Friday we move into the 5th month of MAY which is a 6 GLOBAL MONTH (1+5=6).
May’s karmic 15/6 energy emphasizes matters of home, family, parents, children, siblings, community, education, healing, and as 9 takes you backwards this week, there is likely to be some healing to do there. 6 represents both BALANCE and EXTREMES, which can trigger old, suppressed emotions. But do remember that there is never a need to harm yourself or anyone else in this essential emotional-healing process.
5 changes the course of the journey, 9 finalizes things, ties up the loose ends, and closes old situations, while 1 leads the way to a new set of circumstances.
WEEK 18 offers a stark reflection of the old collapsing system, the suffering, death, and destruction it’s leaving in its wake, and the mindless mishandling of priorities. Karmic 1 = inflated ego. Karmic 8 = out-of-control greed – and in the karmic TEEN weeks, “what goes around comes around”, like a spiritual boomerang in search of “the balance that’s needed to make situations ‘right’.”
Karmic 18/9 craves power, position, and recognition, and its biggest fear is losing those things – (losing anything, actually). The combination of karmic 1 (selfishness), and karmic 8 (greed) can squeeze LOVE right out of a situation so that hate and cruelty are all that’s left.
Satisfaction is a form of joy that comes from truly appreciating and being grateful for what you have. At this precarious time in the human journey, genuine satisfaction is something we all need to develop. Not only is it the essence of happiness, but it’s also the only antidote to greed.
However, because 1 and 8 are such material numbers, they remind us just how catastrophic environmental matters have become, and how human beings are so slow to grasp the severity of this self-destructive disconnect between us and the natural world. To survive, we must accept that we are not separate from Mother Nature, but are part of her – and LEARN how to interact with her in a sustaining and respectful way. She has a Will of her own which is more powerful and self-determined than any species that she has given life to. She is what ENABLES us to exist in physical form.
Since 1 and 8 represent the EGO, and with the most over-inflated egos on Earth now in positions of enormous power, it is only a matter of time before they CLASH – as inflated egos always do. And this is why the potential for WAR is ever-present.
The unchecked power that accompanies Mega-wealth can replace a moral compass with a delusion of superiority, and a refusal to take “no” as an answer. Their money can buy anything they want, but the more delusional they are, the more outrageous or depraved their “wants” become. Despite their enormous riches, true happiness eludes them.
Mega-wealth can produce a dangerous form of boredom, driven by insatiable greed. With criminally insane people in positions of massive power, for which they are conspicuously unqualified, shaping the world as they want it to be, with no regard for people or planet, and with their minds so tightly focused on money, power, and “winning”, they are incapable of learning anything new.
18/9 can make you feel abandoned and forced to face a problem alone. But it would be unreasonable to expect people to fully understand what you’re going through – since so much of it is occurring within – and perhaps they too are going through an inner strife of their own.
Remember: when a phase of your life ends, it can take a long time to pick up the pieces and weave them into something new. Be patient with your healing process. Be patient with your progress. Be patient with your SELF.
Your current experience with emotion can make you eager for more personal freedom so that you can live by your own design. It is frustrating when things don’t happen fast enough, too fast, or in the precise way you want, but now that the whole world is moving into a phase of rapid emotional evolution, you have reason to be more confident. You are not as alone as you may think.
NOTE 2: Your weekly forecast repeats as a daily forecast on MONDAY, MAY 4. This repetition occurs when the month and day add up to 9. (5+4=9). 9 represents endings, completion, compassion, and letting go in order to move forward. Feelings and circumstances intensify on these dates, and because this phenomenon is happening in a 9 WEEK, the intensity will be stronger than usual.

So, whatever your situation entails, let the ‘new you’ handle things. It’s time to make a turn onto a more open and independent road.

You have more time than you think, so slow down. If someone else’s circumstances seem more pressing (or interesting) than yours, be sensitive to their reality, even if it means having to play a background or supportive role.
