Response:

If you are praying for something, you can repeat that prayer many times a day or as much as you like.

I believe following your heart is important because it is the best guide for what is best for your well-being in the long run. Listening to your heart doesn’t mean being led around by your emotional impulses— it’s subtler. It means you develop a sense for what feels right or true deep inside you. For many people, that feeling is found in the heart center.

Regarding your hurt friend, I suggest you try to get through with a phone call or a written letter with a small gift- perhaps flowers, or chocolates. Let them know that you understand their hurt, that you truly value their friendship, that you wanted to say you were sorry, and ask for their forgiveness. If there is no response after that, then just wish them well and move on, knowing that you did what you could. You have opened the door, and they know they can reconnect when and if they want to.

Love,

Deepak
