I’ve cast a horary chart to gain some clarity about my sister’s situation, as she’s currently not sharing any information with us. Let me provide a bit of context:
About three months ago, my sister (38 y/o), who had been living on a different continent, came to live with me and my mom. Since her arrival, she hasn’t seemed happy. Despite our best efforts to help her feel at home and adapt to this new country and culture, she’s remained distant and closed off to the experience. She’s repeatedly said that she should have stayed where she was.
We were hoping that once she received her residence permit, things would get better, it would help her find a job and begin integrating. However, we recently found out that due to internal changes in the system, she won’t be eligible to apply for a permit for at least two years. This means she’d have to remain undocumented during that time. Here that’s not really an issue because there are no migratory controls on the streets or anything like that.
I spoke with her about this a few days ago, and she didn’t say a word. Since my mom and I would be the ones covering her flight back if she decides to leave, it’s important for us to understand her intentions. When my mom asked her directly, she responded angrily and said she didn’t want to talk about anything. While I understand she’s upset, I also think it’s unfair to keep us in the dark.
Now, on to the horary:
I took her as the 3rd house (Scorpio) and I can see the Moon is placed in Scorpio, which reflects her current mental state, withdrawn, overwhelmed, and perhaps emotionally turbulent.
Interestingly, the Moon comes from the 9th house, which makes me think she is considering leaving, or at least thinking about going back abroad.
The next Moon aspect is a trine to the Sun (ruler of her 10th house). Could this indicate that an opportunity related to career might influence her decision? Might it suggest she decides to stay and work on building something here?
She also still has a relationship with someone in her previous country. I believe she’s hoping he’ll ask her to come back, but he’s not giving her that validation or encouragement. Venus, which I associate with her relationship, is currently in the 7th house doing a sextile to saturn in her 5th. Which seems promising for her relationship.
Overall, I’m still unsure whether this chart points more toward her staying or leaving. Any insights, interpretations, or clarifications you can offer would be deeply appreciated.
