Air India 171 Crash | Astrologers’ Community & Forum

A few thoughts on Sabian Symbols in the updated chart.

Moon @ 03CP08 = Capricorn 4 (A party entering a large canoe)

Here, “party” doesn’t mean a social gathering especially for pleasure or amusement. Rather it means a group of people gathered together, especially temporarily, for a specific purpose such as travel or sport.

As JupiterASC wrote, the Moon represents the public.

So what we have here is Moon/public and group of travelers. The means of conveyance–how they travel–is not by water but rather by air. That said, when the symbols were developed in 1925, there were airplanes but not commercial air travel.

Jupiter @ 00CA33 = Cancer 1 (A furled and an unfurled flag displayed from a vessel).

Definitions of vessel include both ” (nautical) Any craft designed for transportation on water, such as a ship or boat” and “A craft designed for transportation through air or space” and simply an airship.

In aviation, flag can mean “A mechanical indicator that pops up to draw the pilot’s attention to a problem or malfunction.”

In aviation, a “flag carrier” is “a national airline typically having the flag, or other national insignia, on the tail). According Air India is the flag carrier of India. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_carrier#List_of_flag-carrying_airlines

Neptune @ 02AR02 = Aries 3 (A cameo profile of a man in the outline of his country)
Pluto @ 03AQ29 = Aquarius 4 (A Hindu healer)

The word “profile” means not only “The shape, view, or shadow of a person’s head from the side; a side view” but also “A biographical account presenting the subject’s most noteworthy characteristics and achievements.”

There have been many “profiles” in the form of news articles written about the one man who miraculously survived the crash. We see him pictured not only in profile view in an article in The Hindu, but we understand that he’s been the subject of intense interest in his country. His country men want to know more about him and even the Prime Minister, the leader of the country, came to visit him in hospital.

All of this took place in India. I don’t know if the survivor is himself a Hindu but India and Hindu are derived from the same root, as is “Indus” the name of the river. The name “India” is derived from the Indus River, which was known as “Sindhu” in Sanskrit.

The relevance of terms like healer, health, health officials, healing, health & safety, etc. are obvious from the context and need no extra elaboration.

Mars @ 27LE12 = Leo 28 (Many little birds on the limb of a large tree)

In this context, perhaps an indirect reference to flight and fliers.

PS: Great to be back. I was working for a number of months in a country in Asia that severely limited access to this site.Screenshot 2025-06-24 093700.jpg
