Beginner | Astrologers’ Community & Forum

so the OP who is a complete beginner – was directed to post their thread on this board then
.

I do not normally reply to your comments, but this one’s implications need to be addressed.

How can any one learn to not be a complete beginner, if the experienced persons here do not direct them to alternative ways of viewing charts?

Additionally, we have many people here, who are only here, to get answers to questions, and are not remotely interested in learning how to do astrology at any level beyond rank beginner.

And so in PM conversations, which I already explained, the OP and I decided that in addition to responding to her original READ MY(natal) CHART post, she would post something directing a more predictive response about her future rather than just the birth chart. This is why it was put in Prediction, so as not to disrupt the READ MY (natal) CHART discussions. This is similar to what counseling psychologists who use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy do(CBT is not new and was developed in the early 1970’s with work by Albert Ellis, in Rational Emotive Therapy(RET)). Professional counselors do not just talk about the past(psycho-analysis, or in the language of astrology: natal charts) but encourage clients to think about how they would deal with conflicts in their future(in astrology: some measure of prediction: transits, progressions, progressed returns, transit returns, solar arc directions, primary directions, and other more obscure ones).

When I see individual who would benefit by more than they asked for, possibly because they don’t know what is actually available, I ask if I can PM them. If they accept my contact, then, without disrupting the original thread, I explain other ways that astrology can assist. If they chose of their own free will to explore other areas, then I tell them what sub forum to put the question, so that they do not disrupt the thread where the original question was offered. This is a reliable way to assist clients here. BTW, the term “client” comes from the famous counseling psychologist Carl Rogers—in his pivotal book: Client Centered Therapy

This is essentially what I am talking about now–here in this thread.
