When your mind and heart are truly open abundance will flow to you effortlessly and easily.
Question:
I’ve come to understand that the past couple of years has not been just a profound personal re-awakening for me but part of a “collective coming of age.” A time when those who can are being called to a greater level of service. I’m still in the discovery process of how I can best answer and contribute to this compelling call of the universe.
As an artist I have spent much of my time in the studio in solitude, immersed in the creative process. Some might say that bringing the gift of art and beauty to a troubled world is enough. But lately I have been feeling that it is not nearly enough. I feel some sort of urgency to do more.
It is a simple step but I have started “coming out of the closet” concerning the influence of spirit on my painting. Not such a popular or easy thing to do in the red-hot-cool NYC art world. And I have been pleased to discover that my new-found openness and willingness to talk about the source of the energy and the intent to awaken the divine within and compassion through my art, has brought tears to the eyes of more than one very jaded New York art dealer. It’s almost as if they are grateful for the “permission” to believe. Amazing.
So I am most grateful to you and all my other teachers (the willing and the unwitting! ) as we raise our hearts and hands in a universal collective effort to awaken peace and love and bring about social transformation.
Response:
I want to congratulate you for the graceful way you have answered this inner calling. I wanted to share your experience with all the readers here because yours is such a beautiful example of what it means to listen to the stirrings of your heart, and then to express that, courageously, gently and honestly. This truly is a momentous time and we are all called to come forward in our unique way with our spiritual selves to birth this collective awakening of humanity. Thank you for all that you are.
Love,
Deepak
