Day Lily Wisdom ⋆ Ann Perry Numerologist

I’ll let you in on a little secret: I’m a perennial gardener, which is really just code for lazy gardener. I learned from the best: my mom. The whole idea of once and done planting made perfect sense to her. Stick something in the ground once, say a prayer, let it take root, and next year it rewards you all over again without demanding much in return. Perfect!

Day lilies have always been my absolute favorite. My garden is a patchwork quilt of sorts, full of lilies that came from my mom’s gardens, along with clumps gifted from friends and family over the years. Every bloom shares a memory from someone I love.

The catch, of course, is that a day lily only blooms for one day. One day! If you don’t pause to notice it, it’s gone by morning leaving you with a wilted blossom (and an occasional earwig that takes up residence …yuck!!) Now you’re left waiting another whole year for its return. Which kind of feels a lot like the world’s reminder right now…

We’re moving through a 9 Universal Year where, much like a day lily, the 9 vibration asks us to let go gracefully, to notice beauty while it’s here, and to release it when it’s ready to pass. Just like the lilies, life’s sweetest moments don’t always last, but that doesn’t make them any less valuable. In fact, it’s their fleeting nature that makes them so precious. Day Lilies remind us to practice being present  while staying in the moment so we can see the beauty around us.

And living on the East Coast, I can’t help but notice how this echoes hurricane season too. The reality is that chaos spins all around us, but in the eye of the storm there is always calm. The 9 Year invites us into that stillness  so we can stop resisting what’s ending and find peace in what is.

So, how does Numerology play a part in this?

The “word nerd” in me had to explore the words “Day Lily.” When we break down “Day Lily” into numbers, it carries the energy of 7  which is the number of reflection, spirituality, and inner wisdom. How fitting is that? A flower that blooms for a single day, carrying the vibration of presence, inviting us to notice, reflect, and find meaning in what’s right in front of us.

So, the lilies keep sharing their lesson …

Don’t miss the beauty because you’re too distracted by the storm. Stop. Look and remember to breathe.

Here’s Your Affirmation for this week …

“I release what I cannot hold and honor the beauty of this moment. In the calm of presence, I find peace.”

Just as our day lilies have hidden wisdom tucked into their short lived blooms, your Numerology chart carries its own messages about the seasons of your life like when to plant, when to let go, and when to bloom.

If you’re ready for clarity about what this 9 Year is asking of you, my Quick Clarity Reading (45 minutes) or Soul Signature Reading (90 minutes) can help shine a light on the path ahead.
