OMTimes: Diana, congratulations on The 36 Spiritual Laws That Govern All Life. For those new to your work, what inspired you to write this book in the first place?

Diana Cooper: When I first began writing about spiritual matters, I realized there was a deep hunger for clarity about how the universe actually works. People were stumbling through life without a map, repeating karmic patterns, feeling disempowered. I wanted to offer what I call a “cosmic user manual.” These laws are not rules imposed from above. I wrote them as the framework of creation itself. Once you understand them, life stops feeling random or cruel. You realize everything has meaning, and you can co-create consciously with the universe

OMTimes: Why do you think this book is important now?

Diana Cooper: Just look around you. With the advances in AI and the rapid changes in the world order, as well as the impacts of climate change, it is clear that humanity is in a period of profound transition. The last few decades have been marked by growing “divine discontent”, a sense that the old ways of competition, greed, and fear don’t work anymore. Collectively, we are preparing for the new Golden Age, which is set to begin in 2032. I wanted this book to be fully aligned with the energies of this time: practical, compassionate, and accessible. The essence of the laws hasn’t changed, but our context has, and so the way we live them must evolve.

OMTimes: In the introduction, you write that “Life on Earth is a team game.” Could you explain what you mean?

Diana Cooper: Think of Earth as the greatest cooperative game ever designed. Each soul signs up with a purpose, with lessons, with karmic agreements, and we all step onto the field together. Just as in soccer or basketball, the beauty of the game isn’t in one player trying to dominate, but in the way the whole team learns to pass, support, and co-create.

The problem is that for thousands of years, humanity has played without remembering the rules. We’ve been like a group of children, grabbing the ball, shouting, fighting over it, and then wondering why the game feels chaotic. The spiritual laws are the rules of this cosmic game. When we remember them, life becomes less of a struggle and more of a symphony. We begin to see that no one is truly our opponent. Even those who challenge us are playing their part to help us grow.

The “team game” means that we are not isolated beings struggling alone. Every choice you make, an act of kindness, a moment of forgiveness, or conversely, a lapse into fear, ripples outward into the collective. When enough of us choose light, the whole game shifts. That’s why I say our era is so exciting. We are moving from an old paradigm of competition to a new paradigm of collaboration and shared ascension.

OMTimes: The first law is “As Above, So Below.” What does that mean, and how does that play out in everyday life?

Diana Cooper: This law reminds us that the micro reflects the macro. Just as a wise parent loves their children equally and patiently, the Divine holds us in unconditional love, even when we stumble. The choices we make ripple outward, mirroring higher truths. If we choose from fear, we suffer. If we choose from love, we flourish. It’s about aligning personal will with divine will. When we do, our lives become radiant reflections of higher harmony.

OMTimes: Another foundational principle is “As Within, So Without.” Can you share how that works?

Diana Cooper: This is one of the most profound and universal principles; it’s really the foundation upon which all the other laws rest. “As Above, So Below” means that the divine order of the cosmos is mirrored in our everyday lives. The way planets orbit the sun, the way galaxies spiral, even the way a tree grows, all of these are reflections of higher patterns. Nothing exists in isolation; the microcosm reflects the macrocosm.

On a personal level, it means that the love, wisdom, and vision held for us by Source are always present, no matter how chaotic our earthly circumstances may appear. Just as wise parents love their children through every phase, the Divine never withdraws its love when we make mistakes. It sees our potential, not just our present stumbles. But it also asks us to embody that truth in our choices. When we live in fear or under control, we experience the consequences in our bodies, relationships, and communities. When we live from love, trust, and higher will, our lives become harmonious reflections of heaven itself. It’s a reminder that the universe is not against us. It’s always working to reflect back what we’re choosing. Practically speaking, if you want joy, you must create the conditions for joy inside yourself. If you want prosperity, you must align with the frequency of abundance rather than the vibration of lack. “As Above, So Below” reassures us that nothing is random: our lives are an echo of divine intention, and by choosing higher thoughts, emotions, and actions, we allow heaven to manifest on Earth.

OMTimes: The Law of Request feels especially important in today’s spiritual climate, where many people are calling on angels or guides.

Diana Cooper: Yes. Under spiritual law, higher beings never interfere uninvited. Free will is sacred. If you want help from angels, masters, or even friends, you must ask for it. The key is to ask clearly and calmly, not from desperation. The moment you’re ready to receive, the universe aligns to support you. I always tell people: your angels are waiting to assist, but you must ask.

OMTimes: Many readers will be curious about your take on the Law of Attraction. It’s often discussed in mainstream culture.

Diana Cooper: The Law of Attraction has become a buzz phrase, but often it’s misunderstood as “think about a Ferrari and it will appear.” That trivializes a sacred principle. In truth, the law is about resonance: you attract what you are, not just what you wish for. Your vibration and your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and even subconscious patterns broadcast like a radio signal, and the universe responds by sending back experiences that match.

If you carry unworthiness, you’ll continue to meet people who treat you poorly. If you radiate joy, kindness, and abundance, you’ll meet people and opportunities that mirror those qualities. I’ve seen it countless times: someone desperate for a partner pushes people away, but the moment they cultivate self-love, the right relationship appears effortlessly.

The law is exact and sometimes confronting. If you attract betrayal, you may need to examine where you betray yourself. If you attract scarcity, you may need to heal old beliefs about money or worthiness. The beautiful part is that once you change within, the outside must follow. Attraction is not about forcing; it’s about becoming the vibration of what you wish to experience.

OMTimes: And yet, you warn against the Law of Resistance. How does resistance block us?

Diana Cooper: Whatever we resist persists. If you constantly think “I don’t want to be ill,” your unconscious focuses on “ill,” and you may create illness. The universe doesn’t process negatives. It responds to energy. Instead of resisting, we must embrace the positive: “I am healthy,” “I welcome abundance.” Resistance drains energy; alignment creates flow.

OMTimes: One of the more intriguing laws you describe is the Law of Reflection.

Diana Cooper: Absolutely. Every person and situation in your life is a mirror. Those who irritate us highlight traits within ourselves we haven’t owned. Those we admire reflect qualities we’ve cultivated. Once you grasp this, blame disappears. You stop trying to fix others and instead transform yourself. It’s humbling but also empowering. The universe is the most honest mirror we’ll ever encounter.

OMTimes: Your book moves beyond the basics to cover higher awareness and higher frequency. Could you highlight a few?

Diana Cooper: With pleasure. The Law of Karma teaches us that every action carries consequences, not as punishment, but as a form of soul education. The Law of Challenge is vital for spiritual safety; you can challenge an entity three times in the name of light to confirm its authenticity. The Law of Gratitude is a master key. When you thank the universe sincerely, doors open. And the Law of Grace shows us that unconditional Divine love can override karma, lifting us into higher states.

OMTimes: The book speaks often of ascension and the coming Golden Age of 2032. What role do these laws play in that transition?

Diana Cooper: The laws are the scaffolding of ascension. Humanity is at a cosmic crossroads. To enter the fifth dimension, which is the frequency of unconditional love and oneness, we must learn to live by these laws. It’s not about dogma. It’s about vibration.

Think of the laws as rungs on a ladder. Gratitude lifts us. Karma teaches us accountability. The Law of Grace reminds us that divine mercy can dissolve lifetimes of heaviness when we’re ready. Each law is a step, and when enough of us climb, the whole planet rises.

The year 2032 is significant because celestial alignments are expected to open a gateway for mass awakening. But only those who are prepared, who have released judgment, fear, and ego, will choose to step into that Golden Age. It’s the most extraordinary opportunity Earth has ever offered. The laws are the preparation manual. By following them now, we’re not only transforming our own lives but also contributing to humanity’s collective leap.

OMTimes: In the afterword, the book is described as a “cosmic user manual.” Do you see it that way?

Diana Cooper: Yes! If Earth had come with instructions, these laws would be it. Life is a mystery school. We’re here to grow, to master lessons, to ascend. Yet we forget the curriculum at birth. This book serves as a reminder, guiding readers in decoding tests and turning challenges into opportunities. I wanted it to feel less like doctrine and more like a living, breathing guide you can turn to again and again.

OMTimes: How do you respond to people who feel overwhelmed by the Thirty-Six Laws?

Diana Cooper: Start small. Begin with gratitude. Thank life for everything, even challenges. Or, with reflection, observe what the world is revealing about yourself. You don’t need to master them all at once. The laws are interconnected; embodying one naturally draws you into others. Think of it as tuning into a higher frequency one step at a time.

OMTimes: Your work often emphasizes angels and guides. How do they interact with these laws?

Diana Cooper: Angels, ascended masters, and guides all operate within the principles of spiritual law. They cannot contravene it, which is why understanding the laws helps us cooperate with them. For instance, angels respond instantly to gratitude and clear requests. They step back when we resist or cling to a victim mentality. When we align with spiritual law, it becomes easier for them to assist, and miracles become natural.

OMTimes: Could you give a practical example of how someone might use these laws in daily life?

Diana Cooper: Suppose you’re stuck in a conflict at work. Instead of blaming, apply the Law of Reflection: what is this showing you about yourself? Use the Law of Request. Ask your angels for clarity. Replace resistance (“I can’t stand this”) with affirmation (“I welcome harmony”). Express gratitude for the opportunity to grow. Suddenly, the situation shifts. You feel empowered, not victimized. That’s the magic of spiritual law in action.

OMTimes: What would you say to skeptics who dismiss these laws as mystical wishful thinking?

Diana Cooper: I welcome healthy skepticism. These laws are not abstract. They can be tested. Try gratitude for a week and see how life responds. Practice reflection and notice how relationships shift. Skepticism often hides a fear of change. The laws don’t ask for blind belief; they invite experimentation. The results speak for themselves.

OMTimes: Finally, Diana, what do you hope readers will take away from this book?

Diana Cooper: That they are powerful, divine beings with the ability to create heaven on Earth, that life is not random, but exquisitely designed for growth. And that by aligning with these spiritual laws, they can live with joy, purpose, and service. I hope that every reader feels empowered to step into their true light and to help usher in the Golden Age with love.
