5th April – 5th May 2026
The CENTRE area is extremely lucky this month, promising good money and windfall luck. In addition, we have four auspicious Ho Tu combinations in the chart, which will enhance harmony, intelligence and chances of success. A very promising month indeed!
In addition, the SW enjoys the “Sum of Ten”, which brings completion luck and will help you achieve your goals. This will particularly strengthen the luck of the matriarch and female members of the household.
Unlucky this month are the SE, which is afflicted by the Misfortune Star, and the NORTH, which is home to the Illness Star, bringing dangers to your health and reduced vitality.
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, then please use a reliable compass to take the directions. I recommend taking the compass readings as follows:
- Take one compass reading from your main door, looking out.
- Take another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.

SOUTHEAST (9/5)
The SE is very afflicted by the No 5 Misfortune Star, which can bring health issues, loss and obstacles of the most severe kind. It is best to avoid this sector this month and keep it as quiet as possible. Do not renovate here.
You can suppress the No 5 Star by adding metal element to your SE and displaying a Heart Sutra Pagoda. People living in SE-facing houses and those born in the Years of the Dragon or Snake ought to carry a Heart Sutra Pagoda Talisman this month for protection.
SOUTH (5/1)
The SOUTH enjoys the positive influence of the No 1 Victory Star this month, although the elements of the two stars clash which could cause accidents.
If you are on the road often and stay in the SOUTH sector, it would be good to place six peacock feathers in your car and carry a Peacock Feather amulet or a 28 Hums Safety amulet. The same applies to people born in the Year of the Horse.
Placing a (metal) Wu Lou on your bedside table will help protect you from illness. You might also want to be careful of romantic encounters, as the current energies also increase the risk of illness related to sexual contacts.

SOUTHWEST (7/3)
Completion luck is strong in the SW this month thanks to the “Sum of Ten”, which helps you finish what you start and realise your goals. You will see that your efforts bring results! This particularly benefits the matriarchs, fempreneurs and women in business, as well as those born in the Years of the Sheep or Monkey.
You can activate this fabulous energy with the Perfect Ten Enhancer placed in the SW and by carrying a Perfect 10 Amulet.
But please be aware of the monthly No 3 Star, which brings misunderstandings, quarrels and arguments. Affected people can be very short-tempered and aggressive. To suppress the quarrelsome energies, you can place Ksitigarbha’s Fireball and Staff in your SW and/or add red accessories. If you spend a lot of time in the SW, carry Ksitigarbha’s Fireball amulet to help you keep calm and protect you from other people’s anger.
EAST (8/4)
The No 4 Star brings vibrant growth energy to the EAST, which is excellent for developing new ideas. It also makes the EAST a great place for students to study and writers to write. The No 4 Star belongs to the wood element, which strengthens the wood element of the sector, thereby enhancing intellectual capacity. Studying and memorising will be easier.
To boost this energy, you can display a Saraswati Mini Plaque and carry the Saraswati Swan amulet. It will be good to spend more time in this area studying, reading, or working on ideas.
CENTRE (1/6)
The CENTRE is one of the most auspicious sectors this month thanks to the 1/6 Ho Tu combination. This brings success in connection with strategy, intelligence and good decision-making. It is a great place to spend more time, especially for students and people involved in strategic or analytical work.
To enhance this fabulous energy, you can display the Ho Tu Enhancing Mirror or the Fly on Monkey on Horse in the CENTRE of your home or living room to help manifest this good fortune.

WEST (3/8)
The WEST benefits from the 3/8 Ho Tu combination, which promises leadership and authority luck. It is a most auspicious sector for people in leading positions who need to strengthen their influence and control over their team or colleagues.
To activate, you can display the Water Dragon Faucet and a Ho Tu Enhancing Mirror in the WEST of your home or office.
While the monthly No 8 Star brings wonderful wealth luck, remember that it also carries the danger of illness. If the bedroom of your children or elderly parents is located here, it would be good to place a metal Wu Lou on their bedside table and let them carry a Triple Blessings Wu Lou amulet.
NORTHEAST (4/9)
The NE is another very auspicious sector, where the 4/9 Ho Tu combination of stars brings business success and will enhance your ability to turn ideas into profitable new ventures. These stars are particularly helpful for people in marketing, sales, and those running their own business.
To activate this fabulous energy, use bright lights in your NE and place a 9-Rod Abacus to help unlock new wealth opportunities. There is also a 9-Rod Abacus amulet you can carry.
If you are starting a new venture, placing a Lap Chun Wealth Tree in the NE of your home or office will help success to arrive faster.

NORTH (6/2)
The Illness Star flies into the NORTH this month, bringing health problems, particularly to the kidneys. Please take extra care if your bedroom is in the NORTH. The No 2 Star can also sap your energy and recovery from illness may be slower if this is not addressed.
For protection, you can place a metal Wu Lou or a Long-Life Vase with Ling Zhi in your NORTH. People born in the Year of the Rat and those with main door in the NORTH ought to carry a Triple Blessings Wu Lou amulet this month to help safeguard their health.
Elderly people and those who already suffer from health issues should avoid sleeping in this area this month. It’s best to keep it calm and quiet.
NORTHWEST (2/7)
Here, the monthly No 7 Burglary & Loss Star joins the annual No 2 Illness Star – two negative stars that together form the “Big Wealth” Ho Tu combination! That fills the NW with strong wealth potential and makes it a great place to spend more time, especially if you are looking to increase your earnings, secure deals/win projects, or strengthen your financial position.
To activate, you can display a Chi Lin in the NW of your home (but not in a bedroom) or your office.
But please stay alert and be aware of the No 7 Star! Not everyone you deal with may have your best interests in mind. Be careful who you trust, make your own decisions (don’t let others influence you too much) and keep an eye on your finances.
As a precaution, you can place a Wealth Lock Mini Plaque in your NW and carry a Peacock Feather amulet wherever you go.
