The luck in the CENTRE dominates the energy of the month, and the “Sum of Ten” here indicates a month of smooth sailing along with wealth and completion luck for everyone.
The EAST-WEST axis is most auspicious, which is great for houses facing EAST or WEST. The NW and NORTH are also lucky, with the No 9 Star in the NW promising powerful prosperity luck for the patriarch and people in leading positions, while the NORTH enjoys Peach Blossom Luck brought by the No 4 Star.
The unlucky sectors this month are the NE, SE, SOUTH and SW. Please read on and install appropriate cures.
The patriarch’s luck is better than that of the matriarch this month, thanks to the No 9 Star in the NW bringing powerful recognition, success and prosperity energies. People in business and politics can do particularly well. The SW – and therefore the matriarch – however, is afflicted by the No 5 Misfortune Star, which can cause all sorts of misfortune to befall you. Strong cures are needed here and all matriarchs should also carry protective amulets.
The Flying Stars chart below shows nine fields, each containing two numbers. The big number on the left of each field represents the annual star (red = afflictive, black = auspicious) and the smaller number on the right represents the current monthly star. These smaller numbers change every month and therefore create new energy patterns in your home and office.
To apply these monthly stars successfully, you need to map out the compass sectors in your home or office. If you are not yet familiar with the compass orientations of your home, I recommend you take two compass readings as follows:

one compass reading from your main door, looking out, and
-
another reading from the center of your living room, looking towards your balcony or picture window.
These two readings should enable you to determine the compass directions and locations of your home, so you can ascertain which stars fly into which area.
Please take particular note of the location of your main entrance door and your master bedroom, as the stars in those sectors will affect you the most. For those of you who work from home, the location of your home office/work station at home is obviously also important.
SOUTHEAST (1/7)
The No 7 Burglary & Loss Star causes trouble in the SE this month, bringing danger of financial losses, betrayal and violence. People who spend a lot of time in the SE and those born in the Years of the Dragon or Snake should be extra careful.
For protection, you can display a Magic Peacock Plaque or an Anti-Burglary Plaque in the SE of your home. In your office, you can display a Wealth Lock Coin instead.
Those with bedrooms in the SE or main doors facing SE are advised to carry a Peacock Feather Amulet this month to help keep them safe and deflect the harmful energy. The same applies to the Dragons and Snakes among you.
If you are planning to enter new partnerships or business arrangements, ensure you double-check every detail to avoid being cheated.
For couples with bedroom in the SE there is increased danger of a third party interfering with your marriage. To safeguard your relationship, you can display a Happy Marriage Comb in the SW of your home or bedroom, as the SW is the sector connected to love and marriage.
SOUTH (6/3)
The Quarrelsome No 3 Star causes tension and arguments in the SOUTH. It will be best to keep this area as quiet as possible this month. Avoid any renovations, drilling, or other loud noises, no TV, no loud music, no windchimes or other noisy disruptions.
To help keep everyone calm in the SOUTH you can display a Pair of Harmony Apples or a Happy Laughing Buddha and add some red accessories. A Peace Hanging with Tassel would also be a good option for smaller SOUTH spaces.
If your main entrance or bedroom is in the SOUTH or you are born in the Year of the Horse, you can safeguard your personal energy by carrying a Padlock of Harmony Amulet.
SOUTHWEST (8/5)
The SW is afflicted by the No 5 Misfortune Star, bringing danger of all sorts of misfortune, including accidents and sudden illness. Please be careful because it can strike completely unexpected. It is important to keep this area quiet this month; avoid bright lights, loud music and too much movement here. Ideally, you want to avoid spending time in the SW if you can.
You can suppress the harmful energies with a 5 Element Pagoda with Fu Dogs placed in the SW of your home.
The matriarchs, people born in the Years of the Sheep or Monkey, and people staying in SW-facing homes or SW bedrooms are most at risk and ought to carry a 5 Element Pagoda Amulet or a Four Weapons Protection Amulet for protection and peace of mind this month.
EAST (9/6)
After a troublesome month, the EAST becomes incredibly lucky with the monthly No 6 Heaven Star joining the annual No 9 Star. This brings great wealth and windfall luck, success and recognition. Things start falling into place nicely, mentors come into your life and new doors open.
To activate these fabulous energies, you can display Pu Hsien Pusa on her sacred white elephant in the EAST of your home.

CENTRE (2/8)
