This Full Moon is very interesting on two counts.
First, it is both ruled by and opposite Jupiter, newly ingressed into its exalted sign of Cancer. It is also in Mutual Reception with the Moon Sagittarius
Jupiter is at the 0° which is a powerful degree as its fresh and new. The Full Moon opens the grand entrance for Jupiter’s exaltation in Cancer.
It may come as a welcome shift in energies, after it’s detriment Jupiter Gemini, also after the long transit of Mars in fall in Cancer, due to the retrograde (Sept 2024 to April 2025). A smoothing over.
The Full Moon Sagittarius may invoke (via the Mutual Reception) a shot of buoyancy, optimism, or just a general feeling of things turning for the better. Opportunities could be a focus.
If not that, then it could be a shift in beliefs, perceptions, worldviews, going from a split or dual worldview (Gemini), to one that is more compassionate (Cancer). Less divide, more nurture.
However, it’s not all warm cookies and kittens, Jupiter will be approaching a square with an also new Saturn Aries, which is in its fall. And Neptune Aries, another fairly recent event.
So there could be resistance or a crisis point between what is real (Saturn), what is a mystery (Neptune), and what is subjectively believed (Jupiter).
Worldviews could be confronted and challenged, what you think you know, is called into question.
The second part of the Full Moon, is that it’s square the Nodes, called a “Moon wobble”.
Most astrology articles state it brings major events such as earthquakes, volcanoes, etc, but we have two Moon wobbles a year, and natural disasters occur frequently around the world at any given time.
Moon wobbles are usually the halfway point between the previous and next Eclipses, so it could be that whatever phase started around the last Eclipse, has reached a heightened point.
Lastly, the Moon creates a Fire Grand Trine with Chiron Aries, and Mars Leo. Highlighting a spark of inspiration and creativity, which could prove to be therapeutic, and generally encouraging.
