Recently, Spirit’s been chatting me up a lot lately.
It’s like I’ll hear a word and like a rabbit sensing a predator is coming, I become very alert to that word. I hear it everywhere. I see it everywhere and the only thing I know how to do is to share it with you. It’s becoming a calling, a mission if you will. The words are often random but when I sit with them long enough, the message comes and I am certain that those who read it are intended to have it. Ummm….that’s YOU!
Can I just say that I sure am glad that you are on this journey with me!
So, this week Spirit has been tapping me on the shoulder with a gentle but persistent reminder:
Remember where you come from.
Not just your family tree, though that’s certainly a part of it, but your soul’s lineage. The lifetimes, experiences, and wisdom you’ve gathered along the way. It’s easy to forget in a world that keeps telling us to reinvent ourselves, that our greatest strength often lies in remembering who we’ve always been. Does that make sense?
Our ancestors both by blood, soul and by Spirit are still with us. Their stories, challenges, and triumphs live deep inside our bones. It’s all wrapped up in our unique cellular memory. The truth is that when we pause to reconnect with those roots, we stand taller. We feel stronger with a renewed sense of clarity.
If you’ve been feeling a little untethered or uncertain lately, here are some powerful questions to explore:
Where do I come from?
This isn’t just about your family history. It’s about the places, people, and experiences that have shaped your soul across many lifetimes. When you know your origins, you walk with the wisdom of those who came before you. You realize you’re never alone and that you’re part of a continuum.
What wisdom is waiting for me to remember?
Sometimes what we call intuition is really just remembering. Those gut feelings, those flashes of insight, they might just be your soul’s memory waking up. When you ask this question, you create space for ancient knowledge to surface and guide your next steps. How exciting is THAT?!
What part of myself have I forgotten or been taught to dismiss?
We’ve all been told to tone down certain parts of ourselves. You know, the “too-muchness”, the “weirdness”, the “woo woo side!”. But those parts are often the most authentic reminders of who you’ve always been. Reclaiming them is an act of deep remembrance and self-trust. And dare I say one of the most important things you will ever do for your self.
Remember, you’re not just the person you see in the mirror. You are a continuation of every story your soul has ever told and experienced. And remembering that? That’s powerful medicine.
It’s time to stop playing small. It’s time to wake up! Start by embracing who you truly are while taking time to remember.
Let me invite you to start by creating your very best day ever.
You’ve got this!
Ann
