Medical Astrology for schizophrenia | Astrologers’ Community & Forum

Can someone help me read it ??

I think there would be many who would like to assist you in reading the chart posted, yet without a working knowledge of astro. symbolism on your part, this would be hard.

I spent several hours going through the schizophrenia section of the Astro.com. databank. Having always considered the planet of delusion (Neptune) to have been an important factor for the disorder, I was surprised, as well as disappointed to find that there appeared to be no specific astro. signature including Neptune within the many charts listed. Also that schizophrenia was given as a derivation (or reason?) of alternate (psychological) ‘mental illness’, ranging from bi-polar to OCD to dementia, whereas I had always thought it to be psychiatric (Neptune realm with Sun?) of nature. A harsh Uranus (alternate thought) aspect was more significantly present in charts, along with Mars (as mentioned by Opal),; the ‘internal anger’.
What was interesting to read on the WHO site for schizophrenia was that there does appear to be an ability for 1 in 3 to overcome the disorder. Whether this was with stabilising medication was not mentioned.

Has your sister been officially diagnosed as schizophrenic? In the chart shown there is a ‘strictly speaking’ out of orb (ineffective) ‘predisposition’ aspect between Sun-Neptune, but that would have moved towards exactitude in her early years. Was she a sickly child suffering from then undiagnosed ailments? Did she, or has she always inclined towards a fictional fantasy with imaginary playmates or a chameleon type nature within herself (Neptune influence)?
Or does the Moon (internal feeling response to outer situations, including mother!)- Uranus conjunction in Scorpio provide the deep irrational emotional disturbance that sets off the Mars in Virgo energy. It has to be HER way and no other of interpretation of situations. A Mercury (thought pattern) – Pluto (obsession/compulsion/willpower) could add its internal (8th house) influence.
Looking back, could such a situation be reflected in a personal event in her personal relationships (Mars in 7th house) during 2002 when Uranus, the planet of necessity of change in herself (1st house) made its first harsh aspect to the natal Moon-Uranus conjunction? Everyone goes through the Uranus square in early 20’s, but not everyone has it tied to the Moon’s internal feeling nature. Could this have coincided with the emotional onset of irrational symptoms of behaviour ? If you could get her to disclose a situation that affected her so strongly, it might provide an opening to what goes on insider her. The WHO and ADB sites both mentioned the possibility of extreme situations affecting the stability of mind.

In advanced astrology a secondary progressed chart + transits for the forthcoming period in question can often provide information regarding how a situation is NOW and steps that can be taken to provide a satisfactory conclusion. With the planet of (negative) delusion (Neptune) finally having almost finished its 13 year sojourn in its ruling sign Pisces, and preparing to settle into Aries for the next 13, the forthcoming conjunction with Saturn (prevention/restraint) imminent, Jupiter (progress) moving into Cancer, and Uranus leaving fixed Taurus for a changeable Gemini mind, getting in touch with her true feelings could prove advantageous for her. Much depends upon how far she she is willing to go to treat herself.
