Dear Reader:
Quietly, in deep space, all the outer planets— Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Jupiter—are moving into new zodiac signs, all within a seven-month span. Life will seem fresh and new and very different from what you are used to seeing. This year most of the outer planets will only be in those new signs temporarily and will return next year to their new signs, and then they will remain uninterrupted until the end of their appointed stay. This allows us a preview of what is to come to help us adjust to their new placements.
The exception is benefic Jupiter, which is about to take up his rightful place in Cancer this month on June 9, to stay for nearly 13 months, until mid-next year—June 30, 2026. This will herald Cancer’s Emerald Year, which can bring a cornucopia of good fortune flowing to them in ways they couldn’t have imagined, the likes of which haven’t seen in a dozen years.
Everyone of every sign will have something new to cheer about as Jupiter will bring abundance to the new area of the chart he will visit. In my June report, I wrote a detailed assessment of what each sign can anticipate in the coming months. Jupiter is considered “exalted” in Cancer—the very best place for Jupiter to be to express his finest qualities to you.
The planets, by and large, are moving out of water and earth signs and into fire and air signs. Let’s have a look:
- Pluto was in Capricorn (earth) for 16 years, and will spend even longer in air-sign Aquarius. Pluto finished his preview period when he moved back into Aquarius on November 19, 2024, where he will remain for 20 years. (Due to an oval or egg-shaped orbit, Pluto’s stay in each sign varies.) The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was the time of the American Revolution and the French Revolution. Pluto is a highly financial planet and also teaches you to focus in with laser intensity on any goal you have in your heart.
- Neptune has been in water-sign Pisces since April 2011 and moved into fire-sign Aries this year as a preview. After he enters again in 2026, he will spend 14 years in Aries. Neptune is the patron planet of all the arts and creativity. This planet also rules charities for it is the planet of compassion and unconditional love.
- Uranus moved into Taurus, an earth sign, for seven years in May 2018 and will be moving into air-sign Gemini on July 7 this year. You will get a detailed report next month concerning Uranus’s new position. Uranus is the planet of innovation, rebellion, freedom, surprise, and change. He is especially associated with mathematics and should bring excitement in space exploration.
- Saturn had been in water-sign Pisces since March 2023 and initially moved into fire-sign Aries just last month. He’ll sneak back into Pisces later this year, but will then take up residency in Aries for two and a half years come February 2026. Saturn is the great teacher who uses challenges and random tests to build maturity and ready you to tackle bigger goals in life. Saturn knows how to get the best from you. Later you may say you discovered determination and strength you never knew you had. Achievements gained during a Saturn visit are lasting and usually are the achievements you will be proudest to say you achieved.
- Jupiter is the giver of gifts and luck and the great benefic planet will enter water-sign Cancer on June 9 for nearly 13 months, to stay until June 30, 2026. At that time, mid-2026, Jupiter will move into fire-sign Leo. Jupiter is like Santa Clause—his job is to reward you for all you’ve done in recent years. Jupiter asks nothing from you in return, for his mission is simply to make you happy.
As you see by this list, the big outer planets, which I feel are the Board of Directors of our solar system, will be moving away from water signs and practical, realistic earth signs, in favor of being in communicative, analytical air signs and spirited, curious, creative fire signs. The old guard is fading into history, and a new epoch is starting up.
If you are an air or fire sign, you will be in your element. It will be important to check your rising sign too, to see if it is air or fire in nature. Also check to see how many natal planets you have in air and fire signs, as those will also light up eventually in coming years. We will move away from status symbols and an emphasis on money—what you know and what you can contribute will be given greater status. With it the heavier earth-sign planets no longer at play and pressing on us, we will enjoy a more mobile, communicative, travel-oriented society.
It is time for change. The old era is stepping into memory to make room for the new. We have had enough time to learn from each of the outer planets in the signs they are now leaving. That knowledge will be under your belt, and you will remember it and use it in the future. Now new opportunities will sprout up where none existed before. This can be thrilling and stimulating.
We are all in this together, and it will be a fascinating ride.

We want to welcome Ms. Malini Chabba, who contacted us and offered to sell my calendar in Europe on her impressive website http://astrologyzonecalendar.co.uk. She can offer lower shipping charges than we can sending them to you from Philadelphia (where our fulfillment house is based). If you’re in the UK or anywhere in Europe, please go to her site to order your calendar. You will be well taken care of.
Please hurry and read your June forecast, and as I suggest in that forecast, have a look at your May forecast too, if you missed it last month. In your May forecast I outlined many of the changes we have felt so far, and what’s in store, to give you the shape of 2025. In my May report to you last month, I explained why the first nearly five months of the year were so difficult to achieve productivity. Once we came to the May 26 new moon, I feel the entire atmosphere changed for the better. Instead of looking back to course correct, from now on you will be allowed and encouraged to look forward.
If you are reading Astrology Zone on your computer, you can always access last month, as we leave the former month’s forecast up for approximately 30 days before we take it down, and it is gone forever. The same is true for the forecasts on my app, “Astrology Zone Horoscopes” (available on Apple App Store and Google Play). On my app, you can see not only last month’s monthly report, but also yesterday’s daily forecast for your sign. Remember to always read for your rising sign, and if you don’t know it, you can do your chart for free on my home page of Astrologyzone.com. You will need to know your time of birth to the minute and the city of your birth too, along with the day, month, and year of your birth. NOTE: You can only access and print out your chart from a computer—not a device.
We are moving into a new environment with all the retrogrades of the personal planets (Mars, Mercury, and Venus) behinds us. You have every reason to be optimistic about your future.
Best wishes,
Susan
