Transiting Saturn has been opposite my secondary progressed moon since around 2017 by sign and 2021 by exact aspect.
Saturn rules my ascendant and is trine my natal moon so for the most part I deal with this energy through my work which I love. I also prefer to work alone, Saturn in my 12th.
In 2017 I moved my studio out of my house and rented space at a local art center and things have steadily improved since then with my business. (A general observation about this entire time is that my house has been more and more neglected in favor of my work.)
What is also interesting to me is how the events related to the Saturn Moon opposition have been reflected in the sign and house Saturn and the Moon are in.
That first exact aspect in 2021 coincided with the death of my much beloved 10 year old dog, she was one of the special ones, my first ever as a young puppy. I was absolutely devastated. Moon in Leo my 8th, Saturn in Aquarius 2nd. I’m still heartbroken actually.
Then my stepfather died, also very very hard, although much worse for my brother who lost his dad.
Saturn in Pisces in my third has been non stop construction all around my neighborhood for months and months. Plus an influx of VRBO houses and departing neighbors. There are many empty houses now, when not full of noisy guests.
September 3rd 2025 is the final Saturn aspect in Pisces /Virgo at 29 degrees.
Interestingly my husband’s progressed Moon is at the same degree as mine right now and so we both have this exact aspect happening at the same time. His moves faster though (11 a year vs my 14 degrees). We have a beautiful open area where we walk every day that is about to be fenced by the army corps of engineers which is Saturnine (astrologer good !) but also feels very sad.
Saturn on my natal Moon next year along with the ongoing opposition into Libra/Aries looks like finally letting go of my mom’s house.
