I have digressed here greatly… on to what is produced from the reverse formula for the Hermetic Lot of Nemesis/Part of Sudden Advancement.
As I wrote above, I have reason to believe it produces symbolically that which comes easily but produces a potential pitfall, a potential hindrance to ones’ spiritual advancement, or it could be that which comes easily and provides assistance to ones’ spiritual advancement.
Why I can see it both ways is that it could have been such a hindrance to my dharma if it hadn’t been for the fact that I never really had any “free will”. If I had been given the full benefit of what the Sabian symbol for this reverse formula does imply I would have never accomplished what I did. I would have had no motive, other than simple curiosity, to try to produce a natal chart for the Nazarene. I would’ve had a successful lawsuit against my former employer, my attorneys wouldn’t have sold me out, I would’ve gotten the quarter of a million dollars I should have gotten and immediately been given approval for my disability pension and been ”gone like the wind” pursuing a number of, now seemingly, puerile fantasies. When you see the Sabian Symbol that is produced perhaps it’ll become quite clear as to what I mean?

Well, I was born in the early 1950’s in and lived my entire life in California, except for the year I spent travelling the U.S.A. and Canada. I had parents that remained married and devoted to each other, a father that provided a steady income that bestowed middle class status and security. My mother told me of the time when I was but a few weeks old and while she was out for a walk with me in a baby carriage she ran into a friend on a sidewalk along a busy boulevard in Hollywood, where my parents met and we lived until I was ten. She turned her back to my carriage and it rolled out into the busy street and a man appeared out of nowhere and pulled it back onto the sidewalk just before a speeding car would’ve hit that carriage. She bent over to pick me up and her friends’ attention as upon me also, and she said that she immediately stood back up and as going to thank that man but he had disappeared “as if into thin air” and that it as so perplexing because there as no where he could’ve disappeared to. He just vanished… as she told of this incident a few times over the course of my life.
I believe it was angelic intervention. I as in a couple of car accidents that I should’ve been seriously injured in, possibly even killed, that I walked aawy from practically unscratched. As I mentioned earlier, I as granted the poser and use of a siddhi that I prayed for, which also essentially saved my life [in fact I was the recipient of angelic intervention four times in a period of 12 hours that day. Thus, I may not have actually been granted the power of that siddhi but rather given the illusion that I had been as it as only that day the fact occurred and I have come to conclude that I was given that illusion as it was already known to “The Above” that I as going to need to call upon it a few times before that day was over. Note that I did pray for the “gift” each time it was needed. I never took it for granted that it was mine to keep.
So, I have been given, what seems like, “constant” protection and a most nurturing environment [to have grown up in and lived my life during the most prosperous years in the U.S.A. in the most wonderful State of California… one couldn’t have asked for more. But, as I pointed out above, without the adversity of what eventually happened, and that I gave myself something to do, [that being the task of determining something astrologically pertaining to the birth of the Nazarene… of which I’ve given a much detailed account of in a number of other threads in this forum already, and in the book I wrote that was published] that was to allow me to pass the time away with while the physical disability lawsuit against my former employer slowly proceeded. I wouldn’t have accomplished what I did, as it was after I had been given the drubbing that I got in the lawsuit that I accomplished it. Yet, I only suffered financially, never did I really suffer physically, other than enduring the injury I suffered on the job… which in retrospect was sporadically painful when it was agitated, but did eventually disappear as I took the advice of an Doctor of Osteopathy and opted not to have surgery for herniated discs but rather wait seven years during which time that which was protruding out from those discs would crystallize and slough off, and did so just as he told me that it would.
So, all that protection did provide me with a much easier path of dharma, certainly one that took no effort on my part. But the actual achievement did take a totalization of purpose and effort as I mentioned that my entire life was given over to that one purpose. along with the lives of others to some lesser or greater extent, and I have been ever in effort of research and writing about it ever since… between writing that book, and rewriting it for a revised edition and writing at numerous internet astrological forums, now amounting to over 18 years of writing, and giving three radio interviews… and the, nearly, constant research began the day the chart was produced, r.e November 7, 2004.
