Someone in my husband’s family has been accused of sexually abusing my husband’s sister when she was a child. This has been known to me for about three months now, and things are coming to a head now and causing arguments between my husband and I about how to protect our son. Long story short, my husband and most of his family, including the accused, are claiming that the sister is lying, has mental health issues, wants to be a victim, etc. I believe the sister and I am trying to take steps to protect my child from experiencing the same thing at the hands of the accused family member.
I am not relying on horary to deal with this issue. I’m on a wait list to speak with a social worker and get some guidance. I am also putting boundaries in place to protect my child. I asked the question hoping to gain some insights on the outcome of this situation as I feel it is affecting my marriage and my trust in my husband. My question was “What will be the outcome of this issue?” I’d appreciate any insights.
Here’s my interpretation. I use whole signs but the chart is in Regio as I know many people use that.
I am Mars in Libra, in detriment in the 12th house. This aptly describes how I’m feeling in the situation – powerless and feeling disturbed, but aware of things going on behind the scenes. I’m in the later degrees of Libra, heading towards Scorpio so maybe I’ll be in a better position soon.
My husband is Venus, which just entered the sign of its fall in Virgo, but he is dignified by triplicity, in the 11th house, and had a recent conjunction with the Moon. So he’s not feeling too great either, although he has some dignity, I’d say more than me.
My husband’s family is ruled by the Sun (the turned 4th house) in the later degrees of Virgo, and there is an approaching solar eclipse although it’s quite a few degrees away from exact. Both my husband and his family are disposed by Mercury in Libra, sitting in my 12th house, which I think may be describing me feeling that they are hidden enemies in this situation as I am in my 12th house, so I can see my 12th house. My husband and I are not in aspect and don’t see each other by sign – we are not on this same page in this situation.
His sister is ruled by the Moon (his turned 3rd house) in Virgo, sitting in my 11th, and she’s got an exalted Jupiter in Cancer sitting in her house (the turned 3rd), which rules my 2nd and 5th. This ties my child into the situation – she says she spoke up about what happened to her because we have a child. She is VOC by some definitions as she doesn’t have any aspects within orb at the moment, but she is moving towards a conjuction with the Sun, where she will be combust. Could this mean that her claims of abuse could be eventually burned up or hidden by the family’s influence, as they are ruled by the Sun? The Moon is also approaching a conjunction with the South Node, which makes me think she will become diminished by this in some way. Possibly it’s her reputation that will be diminished, as there is a lot of energy going towards discrediting her by the family. It could also just be reflecting her mental state in all this. The Sun has passed the conjunction with the South Node, which could be a nod to previous wrong doing or deceit by the family? The abuse would have taken place 15-20 ish years ago.
I’m also wondering about the upcoming solar eclipse as it’s a South Node eclipse, and whether that’s a sign of the malefic and chaotic nature of the whole situation or the fact that the truth (the light in the situation, as the sister and the family are both ruled by the lights) is currently obscured?
There is also an approaching opposition between the Sun in my 11th and Saturn in my 5th, which may be about the boundaries I am putting in place to protect my child.
