Stop feeling guilty for wanting to be rich….
I was 8 months pregnant.
On the streetcar in downtown Toronto.
The streetcar was packed so I couldn’t find a seat.
It was a hot summer’s day. My belly was going OUT TO THERE. It was really uncomfortable for me to stand.
A Filipino lady beside me tapped on the shoulder of an 18-year-old-ish girl. She was seated right in front of me, doom-scrolling on her phone.
“This lady is pregnant,” pointing to me, “Could you let her sit please?”
This young woman looked up from her phone.
Looked at my face.
Then looked down at my belly.
THEN PROCEEDED TO REFOCUS ON HER PHONE.
The Filipino lady and I both looked at each other. We were completely shocked by the blatant I-don’t-care attitude from this girl.
After a few stops, the streetcar emptied out a little. Someone else offered me a seat. That day has forever changed my attitude whenever I get on public transit.
I ALWAYS GET A SEAT if I can find a seat.
Why?
So that I would have a seat to give to someone else who would need it more than me later. And I’ve trained my girls to do the same.
This is also the same posture I take when it comes to money.
I don’t make multiple six figures just so I can keep it to myself.
I make the money that I make now so I can redistribute it to others who deserve and need it.
I make the money that I make now so I can help my cousin with the spinal cord surgery. His daughter needed it.
I make the money that I can make now so that I can make a visible difference in the local food bank. I also help the local youth community by teaching entrepreneurship…
I make the money that I make now so I can support volunteers and children in the war in the middle east. I also support female entrepreneurs in Asia and South America.
I make the money that I can make now so I can pay my cleaning lady three times what she quoted me and give her Lunar New Year and Christmas bonuses.
And so much more.
Why am I sharing this?
Because for some reason, we were taught that the wealthy live in sin and gluttony. We were taught that it is not spiritual to desire riches. We should be happy to JUST be slightly comfortable. But it’s too greedy to want MORE.
Money to me doesn’t buy happiness.
Money, for me, buys stability. And options.
I make no apologies when I say that I am the BEST person to make truckloads of money. I CHOOSE TO RECIRCULATE IT.
And this is also the reason why I want you to join me. Let’s shift your mind. It is not only NOT greedy to want 10X, 100X more financial inflow than what you have now.
I want to offer a paradigm shift. If you are anything like me, it is imperative for you to be rich. You can help uplift and empower those around you.
I am ready to claim MORE financial abundance for me.
Are you?
