WEEK 44 RUNS FROM WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 29, TO TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4.
NOTE 1: WEEK 44 is the 5th week of a ten-week cycle in which all the Week Numbers begin with restrictive 4 – the number of opposition, opposites, logic, balance, charisma, and large-scale endeavors. 4 also represents obstacles, correction, effort, practicality, dedication, details, our sense of identity, and removing clutter.

On a personal level this week, 44/8 provides a strong sense of purpose and helps you to simply get on with what needs to be done, without having to worry about what others think. This energy enables you to operate from a position of common-sense, which may appear to others as if you are taking a chance, when in fact your moves are carefully mapped out.
44/8 signifies the need to better understand the gap between the physical and metaphysical worlds, and you are likely to experience important insight in that regard, even if you are initially unable to put it into words. Eventually, if you really do want to understand, effective language will come to you, too.
44 is the most balanced form of 8, the number of POWER. But the ABUSE OF POWER is what’s shaking the world so violently now, leaving us all waiting for the next inevitable “shoe” to drop.
2025 is a 9 GLOBAL YEAR, (2+0+2+5=9), which brings endings, conclusions, drama, and deep emotions. WEEK 44 ushers in a powerful new phase in which humanity’s desire to learn and understand is stronger than ever. But we cannot move forward until we LET GO of what we’re clinging to. Our inability to recognize our outdated beliefs and let them GO, remains a problem. So we need to be extremely honest with ourselves.
44 represents the MEETING OF OPPOSITES, which is happening all over the world. Not just East meets West and North meets South, but also:
Masculine meets Feminine,
Light meets Dark,
Electricity meets Magnetism,
Greed meets Generosity,
Denial meets Reality.
44 is one of nine MASTER NUMBERS, all of which are multiples of 11. We will enter the double-1 energy on Saturday, when the 11th month of NOVEMBER begins.
11 represents TRANSPARENCY, ILLUMINATION, and INSPIRATION. 1+1=2, which makes 11 the bridge between 1 and 2.
1 is the NUCLEUS of all the other numbers, and because we must learn what 1 has to teach before we can move into 2 without destroying ourselves, 11’s emphasis on NUCLEAR POWER, and those who have access to it, must not be ignored.
This is all connected to the change of millennial energy from the 1000s to the 2000s, the rise of feminine power in the world, and the pathological misogyny that arose with it. Feminine energy does not want to dominate, it wants balance, fairness, kindness, and peace. But certain men who refuse to evolve, are experiencing a deep alarm, and extreme hatred, at the thought of women overpowering or outperforming them. And of course, there are women too, who are attracted to the “strongman” persona, reinforcing the primitive belief that women are inferior – the “WEAKER SEX”.
In many instances, the power of SEX itself, and the panic-inducing power of BLACKMAIL, reflects why accountability is not forthcoming, and atrocities continue unrestrained, misreported, and unreported.
NOVEMBER in this 9 Global Year is a 2 Month (11+9=2+0+2), and connects directly to the 2 energy of the 2000s, and the double-2 energy of the 2020s. The circumstances of November cannot help but affect the world significantly.
The merging of WEEK 44 with the 11th MONTH produces Master Number 55/10/1. Both 1 and 5 indicate strong CHANGE, but in different ways. 5 brings sudden and unexpected change, while 1 brings change through gradual step-by-step progress. Sometimes, the sudden events that occur in 5 are the result of the small changes made in 1, all coming together at the same time, creating situations we are unprepared for.
55/10/1 can bring true innovation, breaking through old barriers into something unique, original, functional, and lasting. This does not necessarily imply that “technology” is involved. Innovation means originality, improvement, and evolution – and often exposes the downside of so-called “technological advancements”.
1 is the number of SELF, and we are learning major lessons about the role of EGO and how some of the most inflated egos on Earth are pushing for world domination, and are so SELFISH that they would destroy the entire planet if they cannot control it ALL. But it is important to understand that ego-driven fascism is not something that rises. It is a horror that we descend into. It is something that grips, constricts, and steals that part of us that is trying to evolve – our WILL – our feminine energy – our ability to feel and sense, and become WHOLE. Misogyny runs rampant not only against women, but against the FEMININE ENERGY that all human beings possess, regardless of gender.
44/8 sheds its powerful light on the ROOT CAUSE of a situation, which brings forward vital information. But the true power of 8 does not always come from the information itself – but from CORRECTLY UNDERSTANDING it.
The false belief that money is power, time is money, and power needs to be brutal in order to assert itself, has paved the way for an unqualified hierarchy of bullies, bigots, and tyrants, to occupy vital power positions and bring forth a new level of barbarism and impunity.
One of 8‘s greatest powers is APPRECIATION – knowing the value of what we already have, and being grateful for it. Appreciation expands its value, not just in terms of money or investment, but also in our relationships. Appreciating our loved ones and friends, and what they may be experiencing and feeling, provides us with a richness that we need much more of. Gratitude begins in the heart, extends to the mind, and then to the world.
But the “world” is not grateful for what it already has, and constantly wants more, more, more – which is reflected in the blatant EXPANSIONISM being imposed by the “powers that be”, such as Israel, the U.S., the U.K, Russia, China, and others. And as a U.S. war ship arrives in the Caribbean, remember that Venezuela holds the largest oil reserves in the world.
At the time of writing this piece, Hurricane Melissa, one of the strongest storms on record, is approaching Jamaica and other Caribbean islands, and is likely to be catastrophic. May the people there stay safe and sound. Having experienced many hurricanes when I lived in Florida, I know first hand how destructive and terrifying they can be.
While environmental destruction persists, the acquisition of OIL, and other natural substances, despite all the alternatives available, remains the mainstay of this dying capitalistic industrial age. Unrestrained capitalism is actually self-destruction. You cannot syphon all the wealth to the top of the economic structure without it eventually collapsing under its own weight – its own greed and inability to experience satisfaction or contentment. Its principal weakness is that it always wants more. And now, that system is ending – imploding, and it’s affecting us all because we are all living in that system.
WEEK 44 sheds its practical light on what we may not want to look at, but MUST look at, if we are to find our way forward. 4 thrives on the study of SPECIFICS – ATTENTION TO DETAIL, and ACCOUNTABILITY, which is difficult to utilize in a world that’s drenched in lies, propaganda, and trickery. “Whoever controls communication controls the world”, and the field of journalism has failed us miserably by shaping phony narratives instead of exposing them – and completely ignoring the existential threat posed by climate change. But that is inevitable when billionaires own the news outlets and online platforms, and are accountable to no one.
Everything that’s happening now is a continuation of what happened before, and until we learn from repeated experience, this “going around in circles” can only get worse. Here is an excerpt from an article I wrote 10 YEARS AGO, in WEEK 44, 2015.
“Dealing with OPPOSITES and OPPOSITION can sometimes be beneficial. 1 represents leadership, competition, and action. 2 represents peace through diplomacy, fairness, cooperation, and partnership.
But some people still consider war to be a way of life. Benjamin Netanyahu reflected this earlier in the week when he declared that Israel will “always live by the sword”, and will always be at war. This old thinking from the 1000s removes any possibility of peace; and removes HOPE from the equation. His statement was not well received by a large section of the Israeli population who cannot envisage a world without hope, and who know in their hearts that there can be no security without peace. What is peace? Peace is the result of equality, fairness, justice, and BALANCE.
Also this week: former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, apologized for the Iraq war, and conceded that it may have been responsible for the rise of ISIS and other extreme groups, as well as the millions of refugees (human beings) who fled from Syria, Iraq, and other affected countries. There is serious talk of war crimes here, and it will be interesting to see how this develops next year when the Chilcot Enquiry finally reaches a conclusion.
The old system IS dying, and we need to face that fact. The question is, how do we start creating the foundations of a new and more balanced existence in the midst of all this chaos? How can we “be the change we want to see”? This can only be achieved by being able to name our true priorities, and arranging our day-to-day lives around fulfilling them.
The majority of people WANT peace and equality. And the majority forms the basis of a democracy. This is why extreme factions are trying to tear democracy apart. They cannot prosper in a system that they can’t control. Democracy is by no means a perfect system. But until we learn to live peacefully, in a state of Free Will, it does offer an interim framework on which we can learn how to do just that.”
THAT WAS 10 YEARS AGO – and it was much the same 10 years before that, and all the way back. Never-ending greed and war.
We will have to wait and see what WEEK 44 brings this time around. Meanwhile, here are some essential words from anthropologist, Jane Goodall, who passed away just a few weeks ago on October 1, and whose wisdom and kindness lives on:
“Hope is often misunderstood. People tend to think that it is simply passive wishful thinking: I hope something will happen but I’m not going to do anything about it. This is indeed the opposite of real hope, which requires action and engagement.”
