As a feng shui enthusiast, your ability to understand the movements of the qi and how it impacts YOUR house and YOUR family is what it’s all about. It’s being confident that you are maximizing the energies of your home so you and your family can receive qi for optimal health, relationship and financial. However, you may be on the struggle-bus when it comes to cracking the feng shui code on what ACTUALLY works to get that.
Pillar #1 – Proper Understanding of Flying Star Permanent Energies
Permanent energy is the energetic blueprint of your space, defined by time ( the feng shui period ) and direction ( feng shui compass facing of the building ). The key here is to:
- Understand that there is absolutely no one-size-fits-all and this is why one cannot expect to learn feng shui from a simple book! 10 houses may have the same energetic chart but due to layout differences, the experiences they have in those homes…
- And because each layout is different ( for example, internal and external doors ), even with the same permanent energetic charts that would mean different feng shui needs
- Prosperous furniture placement ( ie your stove, bed and workdesks ) so you can literally sit back and absorb good qi
Pillar #2 – Keeping Up With The Qi with Annual and Monthly Feng Shui Review
Energy is constantly moving and feng shui is not a slow cooker where you can just ‘set it and walk away’. When a new year or month rolls around, elite practitioners just need a few minutes to update their placements to ‘keep up with the times’
- Calculate the annual and monthly flying star charts
- Determine the no-renovation and low-usage directions
- Layer on annual and monthly flying star ON TOP OF the permanent flying stars – how to activate or remedy, which elements are needed, what directions to face etc
Pillar #3: Forensic Feng Shui and Feng Shui Forecasting
Forensic Feng Shui is always fun for me and my students where we get to pretend to be Sherlock Holmes! We layer on the permanent, annual and monthly charts then combined astrological signs and trigrams to determine if the event was triggered by feng shui
- If you had something dramatic happen to you ( ie. illness, accidents, even something random like a snake bite! ), it’s always fun to use forensic feng shui to see if that’s what triggered it.
- Do things happen always because of feng shui? Not always. Sometimes it’s karma or a Soul Contract in play, but it’s always interesting to investigate the energies anyway!
- The same concept can be done with Feng Shui Forecasting where you can LITERALLY prepare for the future – for instance, what’s a good time to go full speed ahead or when to lie low…. My students and clients use this all the time to plan their vacations, renovations, business and career!
Here’s the problem.
Most feng shui schools and feng shui ‘experts’ only hone in on ONE of those—if any.
But it’s a trifecta.
A trio.
And when these 3 things are working in harmony? Oh yeah: THAT’S when you can truly live life where you start swimming WITH THE FLOW instead of against it.
