Lunar Eclipse 23°59′ Virgo – 14th March

This is the second Eclipse to fall in the Pisces/Virgo Axis, we had a Lunar Eclipse back in September 2024 in Pisces.

This is also a South Node Eclipse, and a total Lunar Eclipse.

The South Node is in Virgo, suggesting a heightened and critical need for a clearing out of the past, but in a more structured and organised way. Not like the Piscean theme of throwing your arms up to the sky and “letting goooooo and surrendering”.

This is more like a decluttering, do you really need to keep that household item that “may come in handy” one day? Or that sandwich maker, gym gadget, that is sitting there gathering dust? 😂

A strong focus on health matters – body, emotional, mental health too (ruled by a stationing Mercury). Old mindsets, unhealthy physical habits, that need to go. Highlighting addictions that impact your health, or anything that disregulates the emotions.

This Eclipse may be ideal for a cleansing detox or quitting an addiction, like smoking 🙂 especially as the Moon will be waning afterwards.

The aspects are quite weighty! We have a near exact opposition to Saturn at 22°20 Pisces. This ties in with the above, taking responsibility for old habits/health issues that have been problematic.

Not talking about chronic or serious conditions, more like habits you can control, such as quitting sugar, managing weight, or joining a gym.

But leaning more towards any addictions, given the heavy Pisces stellium of Saturn, Sun, Neptune, North Node, all tightly clustered together. Neptune is at 29° Pisces, so there is now an urgency to resolve and dissolve any addictions, pipe dreams, or toxic situations/people.

But with Saturn involved, this may not be easy, and it will require planning, patience, and discipline.

Saturn Pisces moves the goalposts often, and the path to progress will not be linear and orderly. It may even be a messy process, but one that eventually restores order (Virgo).

It could be a brutal and harsh lesson (Saturn), maybe a loss or the risk of one (Pisces) that triggers the goal to declutter and detoxify your life for the better.

Practice (Saturn) makes perfect (Virgo). A common sense approach is also required, no faddy Tiktok trends that have no basis in reality.

Virgo is a problem solver – the South Node being about tried-and-tested methods that worked for you in the past. This could be to your advantage.

Lastly, the Lunar Eclipse makes a close trine to Uranus Taurus. This may be helpful in making sense of the unusual, the chaos, and the turbulence.

Uranus may add a flash of inspiration, a sudden light bulb moment, or maybe someone you least expect shows up to assist and support – even more so with Venus (ruler of Taurus) now retrograde, and Mercury about to retrograde the next day. The serendipitous moment.

Chart below – where will this hit your chart? Mundane thoughts welcome also 🙂
